ONE MORE

One more

One more daddy to go to jail.

One more time without fail.

One more arrest without reason.

One more family being weakened.

One more why and no answer,

One more day I can’t be a dancer.

One more night surviving on scraps.

One more unnecessary grab.

One more family disowned.

One more brother stoned,

One more mommy worn with wear,

One more angry swear.

One more silent sigh.

One more tear in my eye.

One more wish to come true.

Please daddy, come home too.
